Farglory Ocean Park is in one of the most awkward locations possible for western tourists. The easiest way to get there is by air to Hualien Airport, but the only flights there at the time of writing come from Taipei. Travelling there by road is also possible, but beware that it is at least three hours in any direction from the next big city. Having said that, the park is well worth the effort; these pictures barely do it justice.
