Schweizer Bobbahn @ Europa Park

Schweizer Bobbahn was the first installation of the Bobsled coaster design by the Mack company, and remains today one of just six such installations in the world. Intamin AG revived the concept of a coaster car running freely in a trough, but their design, while novel, was limited in capacity because the individual cars only seated four. The Mack version solved this by running twelve seater trains, and five of them at a time in ideal conditions. It is a great pity that more of these do not exist, as they are great fun!
